Where Does My Donated Money Go?
The money raised for Family Promise of Blount County is used in many ways to aid the families we serve. A full time director of the network is hired to assist families in finding homes, employment, and coordinating the churches. The director is also actively screening families that apply to be a part of the program. We must also pay for insurance, fuel, and maintainence on the network's van. And depending on whether we have a daycenter donated or we have to rent part of our budget will be designated for rent/upkeep of the daycenter.
